The CARMOF Project ( is a collaborative European Project funded by Europe (H2020) which aims to generate a real and cheap alternative to CO2 capture against climate change. The Project (January 2018 – October 2022) focuses on a new process for efficient CO2 capture, building a demonstrator to capture and separate CO2 based on the use of nanomaterials combined with membranes.

Now we are presenting the final workshop of the Project, where Qi Europe has participate as a partner in the Consortium. CARMOF’s consortium consists of 15 partners from 9 different countries. It represents the integral value chain to ensure the marketability of the products and technologies developed in the project.

As a member of the consortium developing the project, Qi Europe is responsible for making the commercialization of CARMOF a reality. In addition, it engages in the development of exploitation strategies, not only for the end product of carbon capture, but also for all products and services related to the project.

In this workshop, participants will learn about the next generation carbon capture technologies (solid adsorption, membrane) and the key-achievements of the project. The agenda is as follows:

14:00-14:10 – Welcome and introduction (AIMPLAS) 14:10-14:30 – Carbon capture by solid adsorption (Sintef)

14:30-14:50 – Carbon capture using membrane technology (Demokritos) 14:50-15:05 – Process design & simulation (PDC, Sintef)

15:05-15:20 – Carbon capture demonstrator development (6TMIC) 15:20-15:30 – Q&A Session

Join with us the Final Carmof Workshop on November 17th 2pm (CET) 👉
