The 14 approved projects cover various sectors, with the beneficiaries being Summus render, Oryzon genomics, Aura innovative robotics, Innoprick, Composite Technologies, Loop Diagnostics, Fastbase Solutions, Micro Electrochemical Technologies, Bluesolar Filters, Bio-sensing solutions, Biohope scientific solutions for human health, Envirohemp, Enzymlogic and Ommatidia Lidar.

Enzymlogic is one of the fourteen initiatives selected, on whose project we have the pleasure of working. The goal of this project is the validation of KINETICfinder, a robust, accurate and reproducible platform that enables kinetic analysis at scale in the early research stages, when the failure rate is high and thousands of potential drugs are under scrutiny. KINETICfinder allows pharma companies to preselect the drugs with the greatest possibilities to reach the market.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator supports individual Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), in particular startups and spinout companies to develop and scaleup game-changing innovations. The EIC Accelerator Seal of Excellence is a quality distinction awarded by the European Commission to projects that have been considered excellent in the evaluation but haven’t been able to obtain financing within the Horizon Europe available budget. They may therefore transfer their financing to national or regional resources, which in our country has been made possible thanks to the Next Generation EU funds of the Spain’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
